Thank you! Waiting on a new betta to ship and arrive this week for one of my 5 gallons. My red blue rosetail orchid betta went from being active to sick to developing dropsy and dying in a day of developing said dropsy. Wow, sorry to read this, he was a very beautiful Betta. I do have to wonder if with all the in-breeding to come up with new strains, that some genetics may also lead to osmoregulation and other health issues. Probably explains why some of my bettas are perfectly fine and healthy and some suddenly get sick and die. My salamander butterfly halfmoon is the oldest betta I currently have, he’s roughly a year old now. |

  This are my two new bettas. A galaxy nemo or galaxy koi and a possibly super red overhalfmoon rosetail. The rosetail is quite aggressive, he flares and tries to bite my finger through the glass. |

They both stood out for me, the galaxy koi is among my favorites. I was told by a betta Breeder that I had found Breeder quality bettas, at a big box store.
