Thank u, I don't have a spraybar, I'm ordering pre-sponge filters Wednesday & UV sterilizer after I get paid..my tank is 18 inches tall if pre-sponge filters don't reach the bottom that should be fine, right. .or do I need anything to attach them to my filters or do they come with something. ..also I'm learning the more I read, there is so much incorrect info on web, had two of these goldfish for over or around 9 years, my ex husband always took care of the tank, then I got the fish in divorce, so I had to learn to do it, & it's not as easy as ppl think...also had to change tanks & got the new one off Craigs list, I bleached it bUT problems started soon after that & had to cycle it, that was a nightmare. ..I really do thank u for your time and helpful information

Since so much has been added to the aquariums, the most I would suggest adding to the aquarium is the Medicated Wonder Shell. As well too much medication exposure of different types could cause there own issues with fish immunity, so since I do not see much use for these symptoms of a medicated food, I would skip this and just go with the baths (& the MWS in tank) Another "in tank" option instead of the Medicated Wonder Shell would be the AAP/SeaChem StressGuard Resource: www.americanaquariumproducts.com/Seachem.html#stressguardCarl

Thank u carl, I won't do the medicated food. I did order the sponge filters 2 & 3, however my HOB filter has a square intake so will have to just put sponge filter 2 over intake, I know this doesn't work as well installed this way. .also got the 9 watt terminator, really confused if I needed more hose for instalation, also stuck between getting the terminator or vecton 2 8 watt. Any how waiting on this & hoping for the best

Any how waiting on this & hoping for the best A sponge #2 can be paced over the intake, just make sure to use the end cap to force water through the sponge and not the end. If connecting inline to a canister filter, generally no extra hose is needed since this is simply an inline connection. There are a few examples here: www.americanaquariumproducts.com/AquariumUVSterilization.html#examplesThis would depend on how serious you feel the eye infection is as well as how stressed these fish might already be. So since the downside of a bath can be the stress of moving the fish, the using the Eye-Fungex might be too much if the eye infection is not that serious and if it is already going down. But if the infection in the eyes is serious or getting worse, the answer would likely be to go ahead & use it too Carl

Sorry for all the questions I'll echo Carl and suggest waiting until your current treatment is done. Adding stressguard to the aquarium can help, especially with moving the fish in and out. The spots may be from transferring to net to bath and back each day if that's when it started. Illness and medicating the fish can cause other symptoms to appear due to the weakened state of the fish. Wait for the complete regiment to finish on current treatment, let everything "rest" for a week and a water change to see what is still wrong, or if the treatment fixed the symptoms you were seeing. Though if signs of health deteriorate rapidly, there may be a different underlying cause. Sort of like a human getting a cold, then having a sore throat, and then being diagnosed with pneumonia. Pneumonia weakens the immune system so the cold and sore throat symptoms were easier to catch, confusing the diagnosis. This doesn't mean treat every sore throat like pneumonia, but it does mean a close eye should be kept on health and behavior during any treatments.

Yeah I'm debating on which to use in tank, stressguard or medicated ws, I thought I read that these couldn't be used together but I did do a bath treating wounds with mb, I'm just gonna hold off on eye fungex for a few weeks to see how things go

Once the regiment is complete, do a water change and add the Medicated wonder shell alone as follow up if there are still small problems. The Stressguard and Medicated WS will neutralize each other, hence the water change (and/or wait 24 hours from last addition of Stressguard).

Make sure the gaskets are behind the hose barb, then tightened with the compression ring Carl
