So just a follow up on the fish, I haven't seen much long stringy poop, wondering if that was from infection, however the black moor has a few off white spots fading back, so I'm worried infection isn't gone completely, eyes on fish are clearing up some, still swollen & pop eye on one fish and my white gf has black lines going around parts of her eye..the oldest gf eyes didn't really change or heal at all...also my lil black moor sits on bottom of tank alot..just wondering what to do at this point? ?

Can you provide a picture!
Long stringy poop can be from an infection such as internal Aeromonas, as well as internal parasites. This also can be the result of internal medications and a fish with a weak digestive system, so sometimes this can take some time to clear and can also simply be an indicator of a weak fish.
Have you performed direct eye applications of medications? If so, how long/often?
What was the last "in tank" treatment?
I would consider adding the Medicated Wonder shell for now, but something stronger or combination may be needed

Well the long white stringy poop is getting worse, the last in tank treatment was over a month ago with fungus cure, then tetracycline. .not much improvement, then I found this site, I did baths with kanaplex, furan 2 & methylene blue with direct application to eyes, and fed medicated food with metro & neomycin, garlic guard. .I did see a little improvement after that..I'm just wondering if it's infection or parasite. .& what treatment to do?? I'll send pic

Fungus cure and/or Tetracycline would not be the correct treatments for the symptoms your fish are displaying, so I would not expect any success with these. Are you changing out gravel slowly? How are your aquarium parameters currently (ammonia, pH, nitrites, nitrates, GH, KH)? You may to go the "everything but the kitchen sink" treatment which imitates an excellent treatment no longer available; Aquatronics Paragon 1. This would be AAP ParaGaurd, Metronidazole, & Furan 2 used in combination. This is very strong, and it is harsh on the tank and even the fish themselves, but it also the strongest treatment I have ever used. Also keep in mind that water parameters & diet are key too, and use of a True UV Sterilizer also can be key References: www.americanaquariumproducts.com/AquariumMedication2.html#aquatronicswww.americanaquariumproducts.com/AquariumUVSterilization.htmlCarl

I have been removing gravel slowly but haven't replaced yet, figured I wait until fish were better before replacing, also I used those meds because I thought it may be fugus related, my black more fins & tail had rot & white patches, they are returning a little now, and all fish have cloud eye, had it for a long time now. I use strips for testing water, ph 7.5 kh 200 gh 250 nitrite 0 nitrate 10.. this is a estimate...

Thanks for the pics!
I am glad you are changing gravel slowly, as this is best, but definitely needs to be done
Did you re-add the Medicated Wonder Shell? Otherwise the before mentioned "kitchen sink" treatment may need to be done along with direct application of something stronger than MB if this was done with no success (Potassium Permanganate is the next step up unless you can find the best of the best: Aquatronics Eye Fungex)
I do have some of the rare Aquatronics Eye Fungex that I am hoarding bit only have a few left, I could sell you one of these packs for $10.99 plus standard shipping (I would have to invoice this since it is not online)

No I never added meducated wonder shell, I didn't know if I should do that, or prazipro pro, or try baths again. So I just been keeping tank extra clean & removing gravel slowly, gravel about gone, should I wait to add new gravel after fish better? Yes if the stuff I can buy will help, please tell me how to buy it & use it.. I did start feeding metroplex in food again yesterday, feel like those white faded spots coming back on black moor & I don't want his tail to rot anymore, their eyes look like big white globs inside of them..I just don't know what to do, I'm reading up in everything but it's like a overload on my brain

Also I still have regular wonder shell in tank but is the medicated ws safe to use in tank water if I needed to start baths again, is it safe to use as bath water with other medications,? That why I took it out before, I was using kanaplex, metro, mb & didn't know if the medicated ws in water was ok with medicated baths??

That why I took it out before, I was using kanaplex, metro, mb & didn't know if the medicated ws in water was ok with medicated baths?? The original recommendation (also based on the article recommendation) was the use of the Medicated Fish Baths along with the more mild Medicated Wonder Shell treatment "in tank". This has often been a strong combination where each procedure by itself would not work as often as this combination. From: www.americanaquariumproducts.com/MedicatedWonderShell.html"this product is a great accompaniment to "out of tank" fish baths"At this point, you could repeat this process, this time including a full Medicated Wonder Shell. Or you could try a stronger in tank treatment of "AAP ParaGaurd, Metronidazole, & Furan 2 " Carl

Jenny, Take Carl up on his offer on the Eye Fungex. Good stuff. I picked up some off of Ebay a few years ago. Since it is directly applied...it will last a good while. The only skill involved is keeping your fish still long enough to get a decent application.. Hope things turn out well, Mike

Ok so today I noticed the fish trying to rub sides on what gravel is left in tank, so I had prazipro & added it to tank..is that a good thing? I really think they also have a infection & can I do medicated baths while treatment with prazipro or add medicated wonder shell? I would also like to purchase the fugus stuff for eyes if u think that would help during or after treatment of prazipro, I just hope I made the best choice with prazipro. ..I seen 2 fish swim down & rub their sides,& never seen them do that, also the clear mucous poop

You could try to see, which one. Prazipro would be the right choice for external parasites, but not for ich. I think you made the right move. You can still do baths with Prazipro. The fungus eye med, we'll have to wait for Carl to return from his weekend off, as I don't know the agreement about it.

nevermind. I see what he said. I could send you an invoice, would just need your email.
The Prazipro can be used with the med. wonder shell as well.
