I took a few more pix of some of my fish, thought I would share them with you guys.
This is one of my giant danios, he is about 3.5" long. I use them as dither fish in my 55g cichlid tank.
This is one of my yoyo loaches. I think he is the one that piles all the empty snail shells in the corner of the tank.
This is my pink convict tank. The mom and dad are hiding in the small flower pot in the bottom right corner. Too many kids, I guess.
This isn't my fish, it is a bluegill I saw at the metropark pond about 4 miles from my home. The water is only about a foot deep. They were in the shallows basking in the afternoon sun.
I got some nice fall shots too, I will put them in a different thread.

A little more belly on the danios, though. I just love their colors. I have kept them off and on during my career as an aquarist and now that I have cichlids, more than ever. They are great dither fish for the more shy cichlids.
Thanks, all, for your compliments. John

Thanks, all, for your compliments. Johnyes they're definitely great dither fish at first i wasn't so sure about them, but now, i love them they get to be very big though so if anyone considers keeping them in their tank, i don't recommend doing so in any less then a 55 gallon tank, as they really use the whole tank as their swimming room, and are very fast, as well as big eaters but very very peaceful Eve

when i kept giant danios as dithers....the cichlids eventually bored of chasing them. i didnt know what to do until the danios solved the problem themselves. they started sneaking up on the cichlids and nipping at their fins. that tells me the danios enjoyed "playing" and will do anything to get the other tankmates to chase them...
