They're starting to get a little braver (is that a word?), so I decided to try getting a couple of pictures. Please excuse the water marks on the glass. I'm afraid to wipe them off because it will probably freak them out again. I'll clean the glass before the next batch of pictures, I promise! ;D Here they are sort of near the betta, so you can get a nice idea of how little they are. They are around a half inch long. In this one you can see their cute little spots!

they are cuties....and that tail design on them proves them to be very very fast and agile....that is why danios are such great dither fish.

Ok friends, I have some updated pictures of my CPD's. I moved them to their permanent 10 gallon home last week, so they're all settled in. These guys are double hard to get pics of because they're so little, and they're danios, so they zip around all the time. I actually had to borrow my dad's camera because it's better at taking "action" shots. Oh Brenda, these guys are actually pretty much full grown!!

Nice Action shots Stephanie! It appears that they are getting more color than they had originally, unless I could not tell from the previous pics. Carl

Thanks Carl! And you're right, they've colored up very nicely since the first pictures. They feel much more at home in the 10 than they did in the 5. It must be the plants. The 5 only has a few plastic plants in it. I read that their natural habitat has lots of plants. Plus they like their water more on the hard alkaline side, which is exactly what my water is.

The 5 gal is actually supposed to be a QT tank, but these ridiculous cories I've got can't decide if they are sick or not, so it's almost a permanent home. Plus I've still got that red female betta in there that I can't decide what to do with. Maybe I should throw some java fern in there just for fun.

They are such cuties! What's their max size? I've got a wall tank with a few of the glo-y danios, but only three, one or 2 of those you've got might add perfectly, depending on size...lol I love your tanks!

They typically max out at 1/2 to 3/4 inch!! Mine are probably just about done growing.
