Alright so I don't have pics yet but I juuuuuuust got a new betta like less than an hour ago.
It's a veil teil, I originally went there wanting a super delta, which they had for 30 bucks but holy man the only fish they had were all blue, there was 1 red fish, a purplish one and the rest were allllll blue, all dark blue accept this little guy I got.
He is super duper tiny and he's got such a personality, which is why I gave in and got him instead of a super delta. He was just so bubbly and like, look at me look at me i love you. I had to.,
He's white and blue, but a very light blue and in a certain light he's got a greenish aqua incandescent shine to him. He's a little ugly but I think he's super cute. I'll get pics as soon as I can
Haven't named him yet, waiting for the perfect name.

Sounds lime a great fish! There are cetrian fish I have that I falll in love with or like more than others due to their personality or how cute they are. lol Even Puon who is quite a not so good looking gray goldfish is one of my favorites. Puon is my oldest living goldfish therefore, i call myself goldenpuon all over the internet. I even have a nation on a Facebook app named after Puon where everyone worships goldfish. I get pretty creative. lol
Anyway, sorry fro the ramble. It sounds like you've got a real winner! Can't wait to see pic!

I decided to call him Perseus, after one of the greek heroes....and then I can call him Percy for short.
It was that or Zeus but I thought sounded to powerful and mighty for such a tiny little guy.

oh yeah, btw bill. I got him from big als and I would have to say I was very unimpressed with the shape of all of their bettas, I even pointed out a dead one to them. They're water was gross and they all had something wrong with them or just looked sickly. I wanted to go to pisces but this little guy was just begging me to save him.

Nice pic on a name. So it's pronounced "Per-zeus". I like it. On my fish and a few otehr epople could geb to differ. A lot of my my fish have weird names such as Foneme, Aztec, Wickren, Kittwang, Critique, etc. There are some ones with normal names but I also pick some really weird ones.

All of my bettas get weird names.... Drop Dead Fred, Wentworth, Perseus....  but they make me happy and they suit the fish oh so well. I'll get you guys pics soon, he's already darkening up a bit and getting some purple coloration in there as well, I think once he's healthy he's gunna be a super pretty boy |

Cool, I have a male betta named Iden who is beautiful minus damage to his fins (they're not growing back) from 2 females who that beat him up because of his docile nature when I tried to breed him. Plus he has 3 sons, a Critique who is red, green and blue on his fins that are white-tipped. XD His body is a ligth blue. A pink male and then a white male with blue fins. They are all beautiful Then there are their 3 sister Crash, Edie, and Ellie. Bettas really are nice fish. I hope I can breed them agains omeday and be more successful. I really wish I could have kept Critiques last spawn live before I quite breeding. With his colors, his offspring would ahve turned out awesome!

PICTURES they're from my phone so they aren't doing him justice really, but they will do until i can get my camera from home this weekend. This is the first one I took almost two hours ago  And then these two I took just 10 minutes ago. Look at how much he's coloring up already!!! I'm impressed, he's getting a pretty purple color in his body and he's so curious and energetic he just wants out of the bag!   |

Nice. I love his eyes. For some reason bettas with balck eyes seem a lot more cute to me. Maybe because a lot of my females with black eyes are the perky ones who are very tame and do cute things. lol Way to go!

Grizzle is kinda like a "washed" marble...hard to explain.
A marble is like a paint horse...obvious line between colors....does that make sense? LOL

yeah so its like marbled but not so distinct, and the colors kinda mix and fade into each other and stuff.
I;m gunna get my camera I forgot at home this weekend and get better pictures, he's really beautiful now his getting purply in the body and like aqua blue green on the tail and pearly white and pink on the head, and he's the tiniest betta I ever saw
he's like....an inch

He is a tiny boy! Keep up water changes and he might grow. One of Mr. Attitudes brothers is very tiny...beautiful but tiny..and they are over a yr old.
