the thing I like most about the Bass Pro tanks is the quality of recreating the natural environment of the fish that goes into them - hope the care they get is equal to the "show"

Wow, what unique looking fish. The one in the first picture looks sort of like a whale. lol Catfish kind of freak me out a little, they look so prehistoric and not really like fish. I like them though, just not in my fish tanks.

How big is this catfish? Carl I dont know but he was huge!!! I thought they were pretty impressive, they had a lot of carp in there with the catfish that were just as big. And John, I hope they get the care also, I know the last time I was there (which was about a year ago) they had different fish in there, I hope they set them free and not that they died.

OMG! That is a huge catfish! 23000g?! Can you imagine how hard it would be to cycle that sucker? I would really hope that if someone made that much of an investment into a tank and fish that they would also put in the proper care of the animals, but it's true that you never know. I would imagine that with fish of that size they would have to bargain with large public aquariums to obtain and trade fish. The last time I saw catfish that size was at the Aquarium of the Americas in New Orleans, they have a stunning North American exhibit, including an albino alligator. He's as white as a piece of paper and if he's holding still he is often mistaken for a sculpture.
I hope you enjoyed your trip to see this big tank Cash!

I have seen those albino alligators before! (well not there where you said ) but at the beach here, Myrtle Beach we went to this alligator museum, and they had about 4 of them that were in a secluded spot where they weren't in any sun... I have pictures at home but not in the camera now, so dont think I would be able to show them, But they were huge too and very weird looking,,
