Hey everyone!
I was going over the recomended treatments for Aeromonas, and one of the combinations is AAP Yellow Powder + Kanaplex.
On the AAP yellow powder page, the treatment regimen goes as follow for said combination: At this point I'm simply trying to wrap my mind around the treatment regimen when the water changes are involved. A water change is normally done before each dose of kanamycin, therefore every 48 hours. The same goes for nitrofurazone, but every 72 hours. Wouldn't the water changes overlap with the treatment period?
Could anyone possibly guide me here with a schedule?
Because as I see it right now, it would go as follow:
Monday: AAP Yellow Powder + Kanaplex Tuesday: - Wednesday: Water Change + Kanaplex Thursday: Water Change + AAP Yellow Powder (If second treatment needed) Friday: Water Change + Kanaplex Saturday: - Sunday: Water Change - Treatment finished.
I assume some of the water changes should be skipped here, for example on Wednesday and Friday? But if so, would the absence of water change on Wednesday lead to problems with the second dose of Kanaplex, and would the water change on Thursday diminish the effects of the Kanaplex dose from the day before?
Thank you very much!

Good questions!
The water change is not essential for the Kanaplex, therefore I would skip the middle water change prior to the Kanaplex dose (Wed. & Fri)
