Anyone have experience with the frozen hikari spiralina brine shrimp? Is the spiralina of good quality?
Thanks😁

I can't attest as to the quality of the spirulina, but I didn't notice any problems while I was (still able to get frozen Hikari and) feeding it to my fish. I always use (frozen) cubes now, because in the past, whenever I got flat packs of frozen food, I always ended up with more "bits" than whole pieces. Of course, way back when, I was basically just feeding it to a couple bettas and cories, so whenever I tried to break off a piece, I ended up with one that was too big--I finally just ended up "shaving" sections off. I have more fish now, but still wish Petco and Petsmart would sell the smaller cubes (packaged for Nano tanks).
I don't know if I'm doing the wrong thing or not (what I don't feed right away is kept in the refrigerator in a little water in one of those plastic measuring cups they give you your pills in in the hospital), but when I do feed frozen food, what I do now is thaw a cube in some water in the evening and give a bit to the fish . . . then about an hour or 2 after I put everyone to bed (lights out) I add some more to the tank for the "nightcrawlers" (at the moment, my Banjos). I keep the "leftovers" in the refrigerator, then later in the morning I either feed what's left, or (if I haven't given the Banjos a bit more early in the AM--not a morning person) maybe try to save a little more for the night shift again that night.
If anyone has a better suggestion so that part of the cube isn't wasted, I'm all ears.
