Can personally vouch for the TMC aquaray 600 Ultima. Not once but twice while setting up an open top planted aquarium it went to the bottom of a 75gallon! hahaha Still running great.

Well I have only dropped a LED in the tank once... once was all it took. I also went through 3 LED fixtures last year and now have 5 TMC AquaRay Grobeam 600 Ultima's. They are the best plant LED on the market, IMO. They are not warranted for under water use so... don't think you can put one inside the water column and get by. My other LED's failed because they would collect moisture from my uncovered tank but with the AquaRay I don't have that problem. If you want to invest in a great LED... Buy AquaRay LED's My AquaRays are suspended from the ceiling and I have the ability to lift them up above the tank to do any cleaning that needs to be done and still have all the light to see what I am doing.
