I did email Ed, Monsterfishkeeper and I've been speaking with Soop also. Soop is someone, if interested, could be a huge benefit to us in the plant area. Even if he wouldn't take such a board or position, I'm confident he could give a ton of good advice on plants and of course Carl too. Carl....what CAN'T he advise good on I think is a better question lol.

I know where you are! LOL! just wondering where everyone else is....the old forum listed 108 members w/ only about 30 or so active - most I didn't recognize - would be nice to keep this group intact rather than so big and full of idiots - we have a sincere little family here and it'd be nice to keep it that way or with more people who think and behave along the same lines don't you think? I can't see us getting so big we forget the objective of this site, friendly, people oriented I believe were the boss's words....so what is a global moderator and a new member and a junior member? weird poop!

I can't see us getting so big we forget the objective of this site, friendly, people oriented I believe were the boss's words....so what is a global moderator and a new member and a junior member? weird poop! I myself did not make up these terms (I think they are kind of dumb, but I am just going with current forum terminology. A Global Moderator can make changes everywhere while a moderator cannot. An Admin. can edit the site at its core (change appearances, boards, etc.) for which I am going to add to to cut my work load. As to Jr. member these are just terms used ot describe the numbers of posts. I have the ability to edit the numbers of posts for each category (Jr, Full, etc.), and for now they are set VERY low and I will later move the number higher. My reason for this is that I feel that many here are not Jr. Members, so I want them to appear what they are in reality: Full members. A good example is Renee, she has been a great member of this forum and I already got her status up to where she belongs. As posts from long term members I will "up" the status numbers so that true newbies are displayed more accurately. Carl

Thanks Carl. I've always thought about being an assistent manager or moderator (not sure how the terms fit in lol) but I'd be worried that I'd accidently delete someone's post other than my own. Even though I am normally very careful and unlikely to do that, that's one of the reasons I wouldn't want to be anything gretaer than a member. Also, I tend to get harassed by people on other sites because I'm a girl and not the best at appropriating defending myself and I really do not want to have to deal with people like that on a regular basis. Not like that would happen here.

Either way though, I talked to Eve tonight and she mentioned it to me and it is great. So yep, I'm around, I will be having a baby this month (well, my wife will be), so I don't know how much I will be around, but I know once we get the baby settled in, I will be around a lot more.
