Greetings All, I am certain it was Carl's site - AAP - that I stumbled on years ago - where I read the benefits of Spirulina. www.americanaquariumproducts.com/spirulinaalgae.htmlI have been supplementing with foods containing Spirulina ever since. I have plenty of dry foods on hand right now - but do plan on trying some that are offered on AAP (thanks for all of the reviews of the choices! I read them all) In the mean time, my fish LOVE frozen Spirulina enhanced Brine shrimp (100% Brine shrimp and Spirulina -- no idea the ratio). I had used another frozen food - Emerald Green? (something like that) - but only once. I did look it up and Spirulina is one component - along with spinach and maybe lettuce? -- anyways, that isn't one I recommend. Fortunately, I am able to get the frozen foods locally - so no need for expensive shipping. Gosh, after reading Carl's page again, maybe I will pop a cube of Spirulina/Brine Shrimp in my mouth....Just kidding!!.... but I did consider buying myself a Spirulina supplement I saw at a health store. My fish eat better than I do. I have a kids music CD that has a song "Eat Like a Rainbow". Of course, that is referring to eat all of the colorful veggies that are so good for us. I like my second interpretation. I should have as good of a diet (nutrition wise - no way I would eat bloodworms!) as my rainbows. Cheers!

I've tried food-grade Spirulina powder. It tastes AWFUL. Just so you know.

I know their smoothy shops that can through it in. A little better tasting with some fruit. I've also seen people grow it and make their own shakes. You have to have a strong stomach for sure.

My fish love spirulna 20. Now that you all have mentioned the "taste" I find myself curious as to what it would taste like. That's really neat that people actually do eat spirulina (even though it tastes horrible).

To be clear, I've never tasted ZooMed Spirulina 20.
