That last picture provides enough detail to suggest you managed to get GENUINE SAE's. That's awesome.

Hi! I've manage to download some more photos a couple of different times since I posted the last ones: Since I have a cheap Marineland LED on the quarantine tank, I tend to get algae on the glass; they sometimes would spend time grazing on it.

These 3 pics are of the Anubias coffeefolia that I had moved to the quarantine tank a while ago (the 2nd 2 pics were taken with flash, the 1st without). It's hard to see in the 3rd one, but a lot of the BBA is gone...I also have a picture of it taken with the flash on, but that one doesn't have one of the SAEs posing in the picture!

Here are a couple close-ups: In this one they have finished quarantine, and are now in the 55G:

Sorry for the break, I thought I'd be done by now, but when I went to post a couple photos (that I had checked previously--and noted their location so I could find them) for some reason they weren't listed when I called up the attachments, and they weren't listed in my Picture file either . So I had to go back and download them over again, and, of course had problems.... Anyway: I mentioned earlier (if I remember correctly) about the SAEs sometimes schooling with the Black Neons...well here are some pics:

It just did it to me again--I bumped something (but don't know what) and it erased the picture file I was working with (and I was in the process of attaching a 2nd photo when it did). Back to what I was trying to do... In this one, I had put the feeding clip in (from the previous pics), starting a feeding frenzy: These 2, and the next, were shots I just got "today" (Friday evening):

"Today's", continued: Sorry this last one is so blurry (blame the fish); it is the larger of the 5, and "he" has gabbed a piece of Seaweed Salad that was pulled loose from the clip: Now I can finally go to bed! 'Nite, all! Angelminx

Yes good job on the BBA. All the plants are looking pretty healthy and like you said, the little algae, the SAE feed on. I don't mind a little in my tank, just cause I know they are snacking on it. It's just when it gets out of control. Which, with the right parameters and lighting, rarely happens.

Yes, I prefer to have a little, too...a little snacking is good for them, and Selleck!

I took these about a week ago. Of the 5 SAEs that I got (that made it to the tank), 2 were a bit larger than the other 3, but not by much. Now, 2 are still larger, but the 3 haven't gained much size, and the 2nd largest is kind of in-between them and the largest, whom I am now calling Big Momma. "She" (I'm assuming it's a female because she) is more rounded in shape. The smallest ones aren't exactly thin, but they are not full-bodied, either. These pictures are all of the 2 largest, you can see the thickness of Big Momms's body, and in the 3rd shot you can see the wideness compared to the 2nd largest SAE

Here are a few with their friends (the 3rd one I only ended up getting the "end of the rainbow") I thought Ihad a couple comparing Big Momma with the smaller SAEs, but they must have been the ones I had to delete, before downloading, because they were too blurry.
