Note: I apologize if I'm starting too many threads. I seem to have a lot to shar lately so I apologize if I am starting too many topics. As many of you may know, my betta Crash died in a freak accident where she fell in the sink and died almost immedietely after. Dot was doing very poorly and got sick again (very poor immune system) so I euthanized her yesterday. Crash's last sibling who has grown very skinny with age seems like he may die within the next week. So I just wanted to make a little memorial here for these fish and others that have died. R.I.P. fish, you have been great pets.

Thanks you. It means a lot. I am also very happy you don't mind. Other forums are not always so friendly about starting a lot of threads.

The skinny fish I was expecting to die within the week passed away today. I have his name written down somewhere but forgot offhand what it is. Anyway, R.I.P. betta.

Thank you vvery much everyone for your sentiments. I am pretty used to fish deaths so I didn't take it super hard and I did all I could to save them. But I never like to see my pets die and it is still painful to watch them pass or suffer.
My battle right now is with the unknown pathogen that infected Dot which ended in me euthanizing her. Now the other red female betta is going downhill from it. I'm experimenting (carefully) with medications to see what I can do. I'm going to call Carl about it later today.
Cross your fingers that she makes it.
