Thanks for the update Carl. I read the myths/facts part and a lot about UV sterilizers from it such as it does NOT kill off algae.

Thanks for the update Carl. I read the myths/facts part and a lot about UV sterilizers from it such as it does NOT kill off algae. UV Sterilization does not destroy algae on the sides, however "Green water" which is free floating algae Is destroyed by UV Sterilization. I see. It only destroys algae in the water column like it does parasites such as ich. Not pathogens on the fish or algae growing on glass or decorations. Thank you for clarifying.
