I would turn off any aeration, the newly hatched shrimp will sink while the casings will rise. Then use a small siphon to remove the newly hatched Brine Shrimp.
Please keep in mind that Newly hatched Brine Shrimp (Artemia) are highly nutritious when it is first hatched out but the nutritional value drops very quickly to virtually nothing within 3 hours; added to this the carapace (shell) hardens during this 3 hour period and makes it very difficult to digest by all but the most harden fish fry.

that's strange..most casing in my hatchery are at the bottom.i guess most didn't hatch.really??so basically they are "useless" after 3 hrs?man,i never buying brines again.they are soo expensive even the pouched ones.
