gave away my female kenyi today - she was/is beautiful! all cichlids next....heavy sigh.....trying to cut corners w/$ - had 6 tanks - down to 2, soon to be 1........

That's a good way to cut corners. Hope you like the decision you made. Is the tank you will do the hot tub with all those platies and fry?

no idea yet......not sure what I'm gonna keep, but I'm definitely not raising live bearers anymore, or anything else that will breed for that matter, not until things change

I hope you can find at least some of them homes or if they're killed, put them to good use. I think it is a smart idea to stop breeding platies for a while. They seem to have babies and then their babies have babies and so on. Good luck Murdock. Hope things work out for you.
On a side note, I still have that male guppy, "Tyler" named after your that passed a while ago. I told Tiyler, his twin unfortunately but I am never selling Tyler. He is the one and only.

Actually Murdock, when your dog died, I offered to name a fish after it. And you said that would be fine so I did. Remember our discussion way back about naming a fish after your dog?
