I updated my Cyanobacteria article from Aquarium Answers (my first/original post on this site I might add) I have been conducting test on lighting and how it affects Cyanobacteria (AKA Red Slime Algae & Blue/Green Algae), & even though I had my suspicions based on previous observations, I was still surprised at how quickly the addition of the full spectrum LED lights quickly eradicated the Cyanobacteria (I also swapped out different Compact Fluorescents, but found that although there was some improvements with newer generation CFL, T2, etc; it was the LED that cleared the Cyanobacteria with 10 days For the full article, please follow this link: Cyanobacteria (Red/Orange Slime, Blue Green Algae) in AquariumsCarl
