newly purchased adjusting to new envirenment ill load up some pictures and continue this thread to keep everyone and myself updated on the progress.
he is about 1 inch long and 1/2 inch tall.
showing lots of eggspots on the tail and anal finnage at the tips of all fins is a slight purple hue that fades as you get closer to the body of the fish to a light blue silver sheen.
soo far he prefers to be on the left side of the tank near the filter rarely venturing towards the bottom of the tank the farthes ive seen him get down is about an inch from the bottom. im hoping if i get more plants and a dark background he will find himself going all about the 10 gallon tank with no worries or confusion.

Nice pictures. They look very see through in the pictures for some reason. That's really neat. I guess that's why they're called glass catfish (the fish you took pictures of).

Sorry Bill but all that shows up when I click on your link is a Tripod logo and some text that says "Posted by tripod". It's fine though. I know what a glass catfish looks like pretty well from Corycat's pics. Thanks anyway for taking the time to post the link

I like your glass catfish! They look so neat. I read that they can be hard to keep because they're very shy. What do you feed yours? Were you able to get them to eat flakes?

i was able to get them to eat flakes right away actually i believe they fed them flakes at the store i baught them. they also enjoy the dried blood worms. they hunt for there food so its always fun to watch them feast they also ate quite a few of my baby guppies that i could not capture for the fry tank.
