I updated the Aquarium (& pond) Redox Article once again, with some editing, updates, and a new section about the effect of stress on Redox internally in fish. I am constantly reading and getting updates from persons in this field of study, so I will likely update this again in the not to distant future. Not to sound presumptuous, but this is one of my more unique articles that is well ahead of most every other aquarium Redox article (including the Wiki article) I have read which unfortunately about 15-20 years behind the research curve. My point is that I think this article is a good read for every member here, even if all the points are not easily understood (I do not understand all aspects myself) Aquarium Redox PotentialCarl

Excellent article! I read the part in the beginning where you explained what redox, oxidators, etc. were and it was an EXTREME help in understanding the rest of your article. You did a wonderful job explaining the effects of what proper redox does and what affects it. Marvelous job! I'd say this is my favorite article of yours. I also find the subject of redox interesting.

Thanks Renee!
I think I would have a lot less email and many other subjects would be more clear if other aquarists would try and understand this concept, sadly it is often the more advanced aquarists or old timers that brush this subject off

You're welcome. I hope people start reading your article and they catch on. Especially old time fish keepers, they should know this or be open to learning about it.
