i havent been around much but a quick update. i have my pair of true perculas that are doing well. i actually fragged my first stuff today.
i cut my BTA into 4 pieces. so far they are doing well.

Thanks for the update Bettachris! For those wondering what a BTA is, this stands for Bubble Tip Anemone which can be "cut" or "fraged" by cutting then carefully down the middle to form new specimens. Here is a generic picture of a BTA  Carl

Cool! Those BTA anemones seem really neat. But I have a question... How can they stay one species and not turn into a lot of altered versions if they asexually reproduce? (I'm pretty sure they asexually reproduce though I'm not sure)

being asexual they are mini clones of the parent version so their is no mixing of genetics such as if you bred bettas (Vt X DT) or something of that nature.
By cutting it, it just speeds up this process and u force it to grow into the same anemone.

I wonder how there became so many species of anemone then. They must have been isolated and somehwo mutated or adapted to their environemnt which led to their different appearances.
