Gorgeous fish. His finnage is superb! Congrats! You're very lucky to have such a beautiful fish. Do you plan to breed him as well?

Hi All. Thanks so much for the complements. I am planning on breeding him but I want to find a black female or Melano female or one with melano genome. At least that is what I have been told to try and breed him with to get or keep the black and blue . Wish I could have gotten a sibling female. If anyone comes across a person breeding melanos or blacks please let me know.

nice lookin critter.....i oughtta try bettas someday... I have kept many Veiltail Bettas over the years (for myself and many of my clients that have me take care of large aquariums also have a desk aquarium/bowl that I took care of). HOWEVER, I never had any of these beautiful Bettas that I see pictures such as this shared here at EA and elsewhere. These really make my wish I had more time & money to spend with several of these Bettas!  Carl |
