Thanks. I have 2 red empresses, 3 borlei (hope i spelled it right), 1 frontosa, 3 yellow labs, 1 blue cobalt, 2 red zebras, 1 bushy nose pleco, 1 blue crayfish, 1 electric blue jack dempsy, 2 blue zebras (i think that's waht they are), and 5 afra cabue. This is all in a 75 gal tank. Much of my fish are about 1-2 inches. I had a 55 gal but some of my fish started to outgrow the tank, so I sold it with some of the larger fish. Here I go again with a slightly bigger tank and I added more fish. Go figure!

be carefull....the tank isnt cycled and may not be able to handle the bio load. also the front will become large (1 foot) and the EB dempsy will become very aggressive. they don`t call them Jack Dempsys for nothing

Good to see you here Lalo. While talking about stock would be better going into the cichlid catagory, I just want to say something real quick until a thread there gets opened. Don't take this as being mean, but I'd really advise putting that Jack Dempsey in another tank. JD's look nice on the outside, but they are a ticking time bomb and even with a 75 gallon tank, that's generally only 4 feet of space. It's just a matter of time before it starts to exert itself and take over that tank. Slowly, your Mbuna would start disappearing and probably, if lucky, be left with just that and the Front.
But speaking of the Front, Tangyangikan's like that usually don't do very well even in a Malawi type tank because natural conditions from Tangyangika are even harder and more alkaline then the other Rift lakes. Dietary needs usually become an issue as well. Tangyangikans are at least susceptible to bloat as many Malawi's are. Tangyangikans are in many cases best in a Tangyangikan only tank. Sometimes it does work out, but odds are it usually doesn't, and even that being said, I'm guilty of having a Tropheus Dubosi in my main tank with my Malawi and Victorians. As a whole though I do not advise mixing SA's with Africans and Tangyangikans outside of their own. Just trying to help before you find problems occuring.
The Blue zebras could be any number of species, some pictures would help. Metrclimea Lombardoi, Pseudotropheus Elongatus are just a couple off the top of my head I know have a similar look. Depending on what genders you have of your Red Empress and the Boreyli's that is a potential cross breed there.

i'm hoping that by the time the front and jack dempsey get to a good size (they're 1 1/2" jd and 2 1/2" front) i'll get a larger tank, and maybe keep the 75 gal. i like tose two fish, but i'm enjoying the tilapia afra cobue as well. hopefully they'll breed. thanks for the advice. i'll look into the blue zebras to see which ones i have. i had a pair in my 55 gal, and they produced about ten little ones. i'm sure there were more that disappeared. i had to donate the parents...they kept going at it. i just kept two offspring/fry blue zebras. i don't know about the gender of the other fish, but i'm sure i'll find out eventually. i'll try to get a picture. thanks again.
