My mom just bought Lax for the first time in years and I am wondering, since it is technically smoked salmon, is it safe to feed to fish? I have never heard of people feeding pet fish lax so please excuse me if this is an obvious question. Anyway, if you know, feel free to tell me.
Thanks!
Renee

lol You're so silly! ;D I will not give it to them then. I would say no based on the smoke issue Does this mean I should not feed any smoked food to my fish? I never have fed thwem anything smoked, I'm just asking this in case I ran across a different smoked food I wanted to give them in the future.

I sure wouldn't! it's not like fish have cast iron stomachs like a dog...their survival is dependant on a stable diet

Got it. XD That's why they must never sell smoked flake food. It wouldn't be good for the fish and would be too tempting for us humans to eat! lol

i don`t know much about the smoke process.....but i do know the meat is soaked in brine which is basically salt.....bad for fish to eat to much salt.....might even give you a salt water tank....lol.

Don't wanna do that. XD Maybe if I turned my fish into saltwater fish like herring I could give it to them.
