Hi everyone! Iam curious…we have a 55, 20, and 2 10G tanks with livebearers - mollies, swords and platys. Our 55 is a planted tank. We started using wondershells a couple of months ago (which are working great) and I have a very noticeable increase in snail populations since using them. We have ramshorns, bladder snails and trumpet snails (all hitchhikers) in the tanks. The Ramshorns really started to multiply - babies galore. I dont mind them but I do like to control their population at least some so as to not overburden the tanks. We also began using Omnivore a couple of months ago which the fish love! I wonder if Iam overfeeding inadvertently or if the snails are gaining superpowers from the Wondershells

You can also use a lower dose of AAP Wonder Shell. I currently use a rather cheap one every week with water changes but I really like the battery powered one you linked that doesnt have a hose. I have made SOOOO many messes when the hose comes out of the bucket. Everyone seems to be loving the wondershells for sure I have wondered if Iam overfeeding the Omnivore. I will cut back on that to see if it helps Ill give the battery vac cleaner a whirl when my cheapo one bites the dust again (Iam on my third one already) so it probably wont be long.
