Hello guys,
I was treating some new neons in my 10 gallon quarantine tank for ICH with Paragaurd, which usually works, but this time the ICH was very stubborn. I switched to your Paracide, which is doing the trick. It says on the bottle and your site to treat for five days and then three days later you can treat again if necessary. I treated for 6 days straight. It is 99% gone after the six treatments. There is one ICH nodule left on one of their tail fins. PH runs between 7.0-7.2, and I maintain the GH with wondershells between 150-250. I just did another water change a day after the six treatment. GH is currently 210. I have also been using the Shieldex and Res-Q daily. So the treatment is working, but I don't want to stop treatment right now if I don't have to with one nodule still showing. Can I treat for another two days or so? Or give it a break for a couple days to not stress out the fish?
-Thanks, Nicole

You suppose to repeat the whole treatment in 3 days, which would be another 5 days. So 5 days, 3 days off, another 5 days. "USE: Add 1 drop to each 2 net gallons of aquarium water. Dose the aquarium when new fish are added & repeat every other week as a prevention program. For disease control dose the aquarium daily for 5 days. Repeat treatment regimen in 3 days if necessary and if parasite reappears." www.americanaquariumproducts.com/Aquatronics.html#paracide

My guess is you are dealing with Chilodinella, which can look similar, but does not respond well to Paraguard and similar.
I would follow Devon's suggest and also note that you should only need Res-Q OR Sheildex

Ok, thank you. I will give it a three day breather.
