Would it be smart to just add General Cure to a tank for a preventive measure/in case they have something that I don't notice?

I wouldn't use it as a real regular preventive, but something like once a month or bi-monthly. People might even argue this, as people say regular water changes are preventive and medication is a last resort. I'm just considering the ingredients. If your looking for something to do say every water change, I'd look into StressGuard. It doesn't contain meds. www.americanaquariumproducts.com/Seachem.html#stressguard
