I am on day 3 of baths for my Neon Tetras. They are in a 3 gallon tank with a medicated wonder shell. every day I take them out via a Fry net and place them in a 30 minute bath of; 1 gallon of main tank water, .2 grams of Furan-2, 1 ml of MB, 2 grams of salt. Most of them have no signs of Columnaris, 2 are better as the fungus on their sides is almost gone but their fins are still pretty ruff and a few still have fin damage too. How long do I give them daily baths? The other thing I was curious about is; Does Columnaris spread to other healthy fish through contact or water born?

Richard, my cory's get mouth columnaris sometimes, and they spread it to each other due to the fact that they are always "kissing" each other. It never effects my "swimming" fish, or even the SAE's that hang out on the bottom with them. Just my cory's. They are so sensitive. I have read it is contagious. Carl has an article comparing Columnaris/Saprogena. I recently lost 4 bronze cory's due to that disease in one month. I had one small bronze guy from a group of them I got about 6 months ago. He never put on weight or got bigger. I think he was genetically weaker. He developed it, and spread it to his buddies. Hopefully it is under control. I do not know how contagious it is with neons. They do tend to group together closely. I usually do extra gravel vacuums and water changes when I have an issue.

Thanks Coco for your help in this too! Since Columnaris is both common and opportunistic, I have found that more common than not, it will not spread to other healthy fish in the tank that are not stressed, regardless of whether water borne or by contact (although both means of spread are possible) In some tanks, it was often the most stressed fish that would more readily get this infection, even in the most healthy of water conditions and parameters. A case in point was some African Cichlids that were at the bottom of the "pecking order" I would conduct the baths for 7-10 days, then cease to give your fish some time to "de-stress" You also might remove the Medicated Wonder Shell shortly after this time (it might already be dissolved any way), then add some AAP/SeaChem StressGuard to aid in the healing, which may take some time even after completion of the baths.
