Hi there and welcome to the forum! Beautiful fish! Since you've already done some treatment and had really no improvement, my focus goes to water. HITH (hole in the head) is many times traced back to GH minerals, which are your electrolytes. Fish with proper electrolytes have far less issues with this disease than others. So, I'd be interested in knowing your GH reading and if you dose any GH. What your water change schedule normally looks like, so on.... Many times, electrolytes resolve many health issues and if then there's an issue, treatments are much more successful. I would think the spots in the fins would also go away, but I'm not too sure what the white dots are. Here's much more about HITH with treatment options and prevention. www.aquarium-pond-answers.com/2008/02/hole-in-head.htmlI'd also be interested in knowing your KH, as this controls pH and treatments are much more successful with a stable pH. Health in general is better, because there's less stress.

Hello again and thanks for advices.
So, let's do a short description.
I use a "drop by drop" water change sistem in amount of ~200l/ week and aditionally substrate siphon every 2 weeks ( sometimes every sunday) and take some 30-40% of water.
Gh is around 10.32 german grade ( test from my local water supplier), but i wonder why only one severum has this problem with Hith.
To be honest my big concern are the spots on the tails and fins. Some of them are circular, maybe 1-2 mm, white. This spots appeared on all my sevs, but after the cure with easylife some if them disappeared.
Thanks for your time.

The constant water change method is definitely a good method in my opinion, but when medicating it can present problems since your medication strength will not be maintained for the time period needed to be effecitve. You may need to adjust for this with a 28 liter (7 gallon dose) about 12 hours after the initial dose I do not know the ingredients of "easylife" and I am always cautious of products that do not publish the ingredients and then make claims that cannot be verified at least by what we know about certain ingredients. As well this is a product sold by discounters, which further makes me suspicious of the product Carl

The constant water change it very nice and helps very much with electrolyte. Also consider other replenisher, just to give the best. SeaChem Replenish, Trace, or AAP Wonder Shell. How one fish gets sick over others is immunity. The genetics could be weaker. More could ware on the immunity and they just get sick before or over others.

These pictures are very clear, thanks for sharing! I would definitely go with what I mentioned earlier for treatment with the added step of a Methylene Blue Swab directly on these nodes prior to the bath and in tank treatment. A stronger swab of Potassium Permanganate may be needed if you have no improvement in 5-7 days. Physically scrapping these nodes off with a sharp instrument followed by the swab, followed by the bath is also a possible step, but later in the future at this point. Also, what does their diet consist of? Here is our article about Fish Nutrition and the role it plays in fish health: www.americanaquariumproducts.com/Quality_Fish_Food.htmlCarl

Right now i've ordered some food from hikari and spirulina forte from tropica I definitely do not recommend the Tetra Cichlid Sticks. Ingredients: "Wheat Starch, Corn Flour, Krill, Fish Meal, Soybean Oil, Monobasic Calcium Phosphate, Algae Meal, Corn Starch, Gammarus, Torula Dried Yeast, L-Ascorbyl-2-Polyphosphate (Vitamin C), Inositol, Artificial Colors. Ethoxyquin As A Preservative."A terrible product as per the nutrition article I provided earlier with cereal the top two ingredients. I cannot speak for this product as I have not used it nor do they publish ingredients. The best I know is this product uses glycerol, which has been known to be a source of yeast infections in women, so I would be cautious of using a product containing this. I would recommend following the suggestions I provided along with optimum diet and water conditions . What's the temp of the tank? You might consider slowly lower down to 75% Fungus spreads in higher heat...

Hello, let's make a quick update. Unfortunately, i found only methylene blue and malachite green with formalin (it doesn't say in what % ). So, because i was in a hurry i used malachite green in tank treatment. After two days i changed 50% water because fish behavior was unsually, small geophagus had clamped fins. I can say that i saw a small improvments, at least the white spot on the head got smaller. Right now I used methylene blue in tank (30ml for lets's say 600L water) plus jbl atvitol (multivitamins) and malachite green short bath (5ml in 5L water for 25 minutes) As for the temperature there is 27C (80.6F). Lets hope for the best

Generally I prefer to use Methylene Blu in a bath as I noted
I would also suggest lowering temperature as Devon noted
