The amount of information AAP has on this hobby, based on experience is beyond what you can expect from a website. I haven't been able to find such a collection of work with professional advice, with all the resources that back up the information. IMO, AAP is a one stop place. Follow their methods and you'll have one of the best tanks of your life. My learning curve was put on fast forward.
Highly recommended. Questions I didn't even know I had, until I learned more about a concept, were answered before I could even think to ask the question.
Thanks AAP Team. You move the hobby forward. Thank you for sharing your decades of professional experience.

I totally agree with you. I am learning new stuff every day and have only been a member sense Jan 1 2016. Looking at the prices AAP has I will say; you would be a fool to go any where else to save a quarter. I use to buy all of my supplies on Amazon, spend $35.00 to get free shipping. I can do the same thing here for a few dollars more. I purchased Seachem products at AAP for + or - Twenty five cents on each products compared to Amazon. Petsmart is 2 to 3 dollars more on these products. Now here is the big worm that caught me... AAP will answer any questions you have on your products, Amazon won't. The petsmart kid just looks at you and says I don't know... My new years resolution; to really understand the hobby I Love with the help of AAP...

Yup, a full service store versus a discounted store...
Great New Year Resolution. AAP is definitely for the serious hobbyist.

Hi, I noticed an typo/error in your article on UV sterilization: “Since photons are subatomic particles with mass”. Photons are massless.
Feel free to delete this post if you like - just wanted you to know you had a typo.
Regards
