I just opened a new container of Freeze Dried Bloodworms; I had Tetra's before, this one is Hikari's...they look sooo much better, and they even provided a desicant packet! I like the lid, too, I always had to fight to get the lid off of the Tetra container, this one has a little "lever" you slide open and closed.

The freeze dried foods made by Hikari are some of the best I've used, IMHO. I used to use the Spirulina Brine Shrimp quite a bit.

I quit using freeze dried brine shrimp, because, no matter which brand I've tried (though I don't think I've tried Hikari's), somehow they always manage to get damp on me, so I was afraid of mold or something, and therefore would throw them away.

You can always throw a Desiccant in the container. Also consider using a zip lock bag where you can seal it each time with as little extra air as possible Carl

Hikari packs all of their freeze dried foods with dessicant as far as I know. I've kept those jars of spirulina brine shrimp for a long time without any problems.

Thanks, Guys! I'll probably pick some up one of these days...next on my list is some of SF Bay's Freshwater Multi-Pack frozen food. I'd rather get the Freshwater Frenzy, but the only way to get it here, is thru the multi-pack. Maybe next fall I can order some over the internet...unfortunately doing that cost around $30 just for shipping! ...so I will need to "stock up" all at once when I do.
