Greetings Carl/All,
I know you have lots of info on how to do a safe Methylene Blue dip. Before I try something new-to-me with my fish, I research more information - including any dangers (like today: dangers of Methylene Blue dip) just in case I mess up.....I am not an expert (smile).
Anyways, here is additional information that I did not see on your site (it might be there - I just didn't see it): Note: The presence of extensive amounts of Kordon's AmQuel will reduce or eliminate the presence of Methylene Blue.
That comes directly from Kordon's site.
The water in the hospital tank does have Kordon'a Amquel Plus (which isn't exactly the same). I plan on using some water that is set to same parameters - but no treatments/products other than the Methylene Blue and some salt. I will gradually acclimate the first to the bucket. The fish will have a 30 minute bath.
Thanks again for all of the information your provide. I wish more would use it (smile).... Yes, I saw bad advice on forums when I did my search today. Oh well......
