Angelminx,I think I see what's throwing you..... You're seeing both names appear because Firefox ad Google are two different things, and you are using both.
Google is the search engine, others being Duckduckgo and Bing.
Mozilla Firefox is the web browser program on your computer which allows you to use a search engine. Other choices in web browsers are Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, and Safari.
You see both names because you are 'in' Firefox on your computer, but using the search engine Google to search the internet.
You have a choice with these, but different operating systems tend to work better with different web browsers. Also, people have preferences with the search engines because engines differ as to what info they use to prioritize the search results they deliver.

I've found, that for some reason, when I type in an ADDRESS--through IE, anyway--that it is rarely the 1st thing in the list that shows up, sometimes as far down as 3rd or 4th! More than likely, the first 2 or 3 results are actually advertisements and not results from your actual search.

Thanks for this thread on Saprolegnia.
Quote from SeapetalIII:
>>I did read the article on Saprolegnia and treatment options, though I think these are geared more to treating fish vs a tank. Perhaps my approach should be a medication? but I would love some input before I make that call. ----------------- I have fish in a bare bottom hospital tank. Previously, when I had fish in the hospital tank, I would also add a large cory cat to help clean up the mess. This time, I didn't want the bacterial infection to pass to the cory cat -- besides, the filters can't handle the load of one more fish.
I do use Microbe Lift Special Blend to help break up the food waste -- BUT now, thanks to this thread, I will use Melafix and Pimafix (alternating 12 hours apart). All three fish will benefit from Melafix and Pimafix, too (had been using Microbe Lift Artemiss - but Polyfilter was pulling most of that out anyways. Needed the Polyfilter to help remove ammonia). The fish don't need additional threat of any other disease.
Attention new members to this thread - it does get off topic so focus on the start of the thread and those answers. Very informative!
Cheers,
Judy D.
