By far my favorite Goldfish. I'm in another forum and my display picture is just like the black fancy goldfish you have! There just so fun to look at. I haven't been able to keep any yet, but I could see myself getting another tank and having a few of these guys. All these pictures are making me go into fishy daydreaming.

I really like this tank, one of my favorites. Some day I'll give these guys a try. Do you ever have any algae problems in all these planted tanks?

Sometimes algae will rear its ugly head, and usually its my fault lol ie: lights left on too long, not long enough, not dosing correctly, a bit late with WC's etc

For me, it's almost plant specific. On all the plants that grow fast in the tank, it doesn't grow on, the plants that are slower growing, I'll have some BBA. I was just wondering for your tanks, since there is just so many plants. Anyways, keep up the work. I plan on getting tickets for your aquarium show

I was just wondering for your tanks, since there is just so many plants. Often with plant specific algae issues it is do to a particular plant not out competing the algae in question. The causes of failure to compete can be varied or of multiple causes from nutrients, to light. As well sometimes the plant is simply not in the optimum environment and will never out compete the algae. Sometimes the plant is not even meant as an aquarium plant as many retailers sell "aquarium" plants that are actually bog plants not meant to be fully submersed Further Information: www.aquarium-pond-answers.com/2008/04/aquarium-algae.htmlCarl

Your goldfish and setup are absolutely gorgeous! They certainly leave my gravel-less 40 gallon tank with goldfish and plastic plants with a lot to be desired. It's really awesome that you name your goldies too. All of them look very healthy and your setup is immaculate! Thanks for sharing! Renee

Updated pic. Had to rescape to catch all the pep and common BN juvies to sell (scuse the nets hanging, they are holding the BN waiting for new owners to pick up). Added in another 20 or so pep juvies to growout ready for sale.
