My real camera should be able to handle it. I've had it downstairs ever since, hoping to catch him doing it again, but no luck!
I bet you're right about how Oranda figured out where the food was. It makes sense. Clever fishy!

I am. lol And the goldfish in the 40 gallon which are not disabled or blind seem nervous to go near the see-through container I float their food in. lol I think Oranda deserves a reward. lol Good luck with the pleco! I hope he does that again.

That will be a real fun thing to see, I have a gold fish and it always comes up to the tank when my hand is in the water and rubs its body in my hand, I don’t know whether this is normal but I like it.

It sounds like you have a really tame goldfish. I have heard of goldfish actually being petted (mostly from YouTube videos where I saw it). It's really cool that your fish does that. My goldfish don't rub against me or like to be petted. They are not shy about nibbling at fingers of course if there is food involved.
