After almost a year of great success with my German Blue Rams both my male a female have died about a month apart. I'm sad about it but after a month I am ready to move on. I have checked tank parameters everyday and all seems well. As well the cories, loaches and pleco all seem to be doing very well.
I am now thinking about adding new fish. I have pretty well settled on kribensis cichlids. I've been doing research but I would really prefer to get some opinions from people who have actually kept them. I would like to put them in the 20g long tank. I was thinking only a pair would fit but would even that be too much in a tank that size. I don't want to get fish and then have it turn out that they have outgrown the tank. Opinions would be most welcome.
GET WELL SOON CARL!!

Thanks Kagome! Anyway, I personally think two Kribensis would be fine, I have kept many in tanks of this size with few problems that come to mind. I have found Kribensis do well in water similar to what Ram Cichlids prefer, but are not nearly as sensitive. Carl

Thanks Carl. I picked up 2 juvenile Kribensis the day before yesterday. They look very healthy but don't have much color yet since they are so young. I acclimated them and they seem to be doing well. They are eating very well and seem to have found their own little home in the tank. I think I'm going to add a few more caves so everyone has more options of hiding places.
