Guppies are one of the easiest fish to breed. All you need is 1-3 females (3 is best) and 1 male...add water and places for the babies to hide and you will be over run in a matter of months!
I have never breed Angels or Discus but I have heard that Angels are not too hard but Discus are. If I remember correctly...they breed in very low pH. Good Luck! Both fish are Beautiful!!!

Watch out though with guppies. Once they start having babies they don't stop. Their gestation is around 30 days and if a female gets pregnant, she can give birth to batchs of 20-50 live fry or more every month for a few months after. And if you don't seperate the juvenile males from females soon enough, you can end up with the young females pregnant. Therefore, youc an end upw ith hundreds of fish before you know it.
Angels on the other hand from pair bonds and should be kept pretty much by themselves to breed in a 20 gallon or bigger I believe. I've never bred angels so I'm not totally sure on this. You can ask Penycat (Sarah) if you need any more help with angels sinc eI know she breeds them.
Hope that helps!

Angels like a temperature somewhere around 78F-82F (25.56C-27.78C). I always kept mine at around 79F. They are South American fish so they like soft, slightly acidic water. So GH of 100+, KH around 50-100. You have to be on a very strict cleaning schedule with them. They will not tolerate dirty water or poor conditions. Also be warned that they can get rather large eventually, but this takes quite a while. I would take a good look at your friend's set ups to get an idea, but I believe that as adults they require at least a 40g. I had mine in a 30g and just as I was thinking of bumping them up to a 45g someone else's stupidity caused them all to die. I love angels, they are great fish and as long as you get into a good maintenance routine they are pretty easy to care for and can be kept with a wide variety of other fish. Here is a link to the profile for them that Carl made. Just scroll down past the ram cichlid profile, all the South American cichlid profiles are together on the same page. www.americanaquariumproducts.com/SACichlids.html

oh angels, one of my favorites:) I actually had to stop raising mine here, sold all but a few of my favorites off at auction:( But then 2 sunsets that I kept, one here and one at my parent's house in their tank got bigger, so I put mine in with my parents, within a month they formed a pair and I now have a tank of fry again:) I've missed raising these guys! They are fun fish, awesome and very personable!
