I made a simple video of my fish in a 14 gallon bio cube aquarium during feeding time:

Carl, fish don't seem that addicted to food. You should see my guppies. They're addicts!! They zoom around searching at the speed of light. Nothing inedible goes unattended. They like to eat hands, swim through hands, pick at everything at the tank, and eat hair if given the chance. I feed them 2-3 times daily and they never are full, even if I over feed. lol My goldfish are also very addicted to food but not like the guppies. Some of my female bettas have jumped 2 inches out of the water thinking when I feed them there are tiny insects in the air. I never encouraged this behavior, they came up with it on their own. lol I just keep a lid on their tank and watch! XD

I fed just a pinch to bring them out, they had a larger feeding only a couple hours earlier. Some were more interested in showing dominance than eating.
I thought I would add some weird music for a different "twist" It was the B-52s: "Planet Claire"

I loved the music. I like the angel. Neat colors. What kind of plant is that tall skinny green one? Anacharis? Is it real?

Carl, fish don't seem that addicted to food. You should see my guppies. They're addicts!! They zoom around searching at the speed of light. Nothing inedible goes unattended. My fish also act like they haven't had food in a week. I could feed 3-4 times a day and they would have a "feeding frenzy" every time I toss some food in the tank.
The surface of the water looks like a bunch of pirahna feasting on some unfortunate animal. Water splashes out onto the floor and fish are zooming all over.
Even the various fry are starting to recognize the turkey baster as the "food bringer" and flock to it now.

Mine do, especially the guppies, OMG! They are miniature piranhas! They eat fingers, hands, and hair just like piranhas in the horror movies. Only with teh bite. lol

Do you float the anacharis, Carl? I had it once and had a hard time keeping it rooted in the gravel. I eventually gave up on it. The guy at the lfs said to float it until it gets roots, then plant it. I haven't tried again since I found that out and was thinking of getting some and trying again someday.

I leave the little lead weight on it and just let it sink down to the gravel until it starts some roots, then remove the weight and stick the plant in the sand/gravel.
If your lfs has rubber bands instead of lead weights on its' stem plants, you can use fishing sinkers or buy some lead weights at the fish store. Most have them for about 79 cents or so. John

JohnAll I can say is Ditto and add that I let some float and others I plant just as John/8 prescribed (you can see this in the video, although I cleared out some it just before filming) Carl

Awesome, thanks for the tip!! Carl, is the angel in the video the same guy that is in your avatar next to your family? Yes! I really like this guy! Unique Color, great personality, etc. He is a memeber of my family too, so he gets to go on virtual camping trips, LOL. He also reminds me of when I had time, money and most of all space to keep so many tanks (both my own and the 100s of client's tanks) with Angels, Discus, Rams, etc., instead of this small tank. Here he is when younger: Carl

How old is he? I assume you've had him a long time. How long do they live? Also, the pink on his cheeks makes it look like he's blushing! lol

Cool. That's about the lifespan of a goldfish but actually goldfish live closer to 20 if well cared for.

Me too. I'll be getting them instead of the serpea tetra if they didn't grow so big. Of course, it;'ll be a while before I can get the serpea's sicne IZ have to save up a lot first and of course continue to improve the conditions for the fish I already have.
