Here are my fishies, I think there's one of all of them cept Went. But theres pics of the sick boy in the illness section This is McSpiff my swordtail This is my sucky lil Fred Drop Dead Fred. He's an old betta 2yrs old. You can see his little face tumor deal in this pic This is lil Angus, or lil Anggy, or Angus the 2nd, bristlenose pleco, the second after my big trinidad pleco committed suicide This is Howie, one of the goldies, the biggest goldie. He's about a bit over 6" now. He's named after the albino guy from benchwarmers Here's the tank with all three goldies hovering, they still aren't too impressed with the move. This is Anchovi He's got an orange mustache. He's about 51/2" and when I got him he was a super baby, which is why I named him anchovi, like under an inch. This is Howie and my calico fantail Jaws The most mellow fish I have ever seen. This is Lil PI one of my yoyo loaches. It's blurry cause he refused to sit still. I just realized I don't have a pic of Rufus my other yoyo loach. But he's about the same but twice the size and his pattern a bit 'neater' The Goldies again My only oto left, thing 1 (thing 2 died not too long ago)

Sam, are all these fish in the same tank? The reason I ask is that goldfish are coldwater fish and most all the others (including the betta) are tropical fish that live in warmer water.
If you are heating the tank, the goldfish are not in the proper temp and if you are not, all the others are not.
Immune systems may suffer when fish are not kept at the proper temps for their species.

that is very true 8....but the goldies have an incredible resilliance. they lived in my malawi tank at 78 degrees and 7.9 ph. the goldie became a cichlid. stopped scrounging the bottom and started acting just like the cichlids

Love the tank! White gravel is very attractive. The bristlenose has long been a favorite of mine. Kinda like a grisly old sailor.

definately not the same tanks, I currently have 4 tanks, 3 in the works.
I know better than to mix goldies and tropical fish I wouldn't want to do that.

I would love to see a goldfish acting out and bullying other fish.
Did he stake out a territory and chase everyone away? He would be king of the hill if you put him back in with other goldfish, eh? John/8

lol Everything I can think of a good anme for has names. All of my goldfish and some of my breeder bettas and guppies. The rest I don't name since I will never name 2 different animals the same name. Each name is unique to the animal and they deserve individuality. Also, sometimes I ahve a major blcok and don't name a fishI want to name until 3 months later. I alwasy like the names to match the fish and be good enough for them. I have tons I'd like to name but I just can't seem to think o good names for them. And I make up the majority of their names, very few are actual human names. lol

lol I make up the majority of their names, very few are actual human names. lol As long as they are happy with their names, anything is cool for pets.
When I hear some of the names that the Hollywood celebreties give their kids, I wonder if they are human names too.
Shia Labouf..... come on! Dweezil Zappa.... OMG .

lol that's silly, I know celebrity names are silly. Like Gwenith paltrow naming her little girl Apple....okay then. Some of my names are human and some arent but I like picking silly names for my fish. Wentworth is named after the actor that's from prison break cause he's a super hottie and well I think his name is the silliest thing ever. Drop Dead Fred is named from the movie and the crazy guy from it cause well, Fred is a crazy grumpy old fish. The only fish that has the same name is Angus the second, cause he was named after my first pleco that committed suicide
