OK, had to post these. Walt (my husband) took these today while I was doing water changes. The first are Xmas fulu babies. The mom is 1.25 inches, so that shows how little the babies are...maybe 1/8 of an inch. She had 20 or more of them. This is Mbipia cf. Lutea fry. They are 3/16 of an inch tops. The mom might be a little more than an inch. Neochromis fry, maybe 1/4 inch And, I keep joking with Brenda that I'm going to send her 100 little Iodotropheus sprengerae, Rusties. I don't think that she believes that I have that many of these guys. This is one tank, of 3, that I have fry in. This is a 10 gallon, I have a 29 and a 35 corner tank full of these fry. There are at least 30 in this tank alone.

Nice work on getting those Barb. I'll say right now, whenever your Fulu's grow out enough, I'll be more then happy to take however many you'd be willing to sell. Out of the 10 I ordered, I still have 7 and maybe mixing the group up would be a good thing. One of my Zebra's is holding and my female TR just spawned today after a live food feeding. I saw it. I tried to get some shots of it, can't really see the eggs in the other clips I've gotten, but I did see her dropping like four to five eggs at a time, and actually trying to keep the male after her.
I think I'm gonna have to open up that 20 gallon tank to get the zebra's hauled in and hold the TR. I still have 10 day old Yellow labs, that I don't know where they could be moved yet. Jessh these guys love to reproduce LOL. I think you took great shots Barb, and I only wish I could get images that good of my fry. I think you also reccomended Mbipia cf. Lutea, so that as well, if you'd like to move some, just let me know. It will take me like maybe 1 day to Mbuna relocate to make room for any new Vics.

Jon, I don't sell fish. I'd be glad to give you some, once they grow out. If this is any indication of numbers, I'm going to have more than I know what to do with very soon. I still have 3 holding females of the fulus, and one more of the Lutea.
My husband gets all the photo credit. He took all the pictures worth posting. I just load them...and post them.

Hey I wouldn't complain about the non selling Barb, but really I would feel very bad if I didn't offer something or at least send you the money for shipping. I know this species carries some good value on the cichlid market, just so you understand. I also have a high affinity for the overall look. I'm uploading some more clips I took today, will have them up shortly. Well hats off to the hubby then, I think he did a super job. I sure can't get stills like that. All these females holding, usually a good sign you keeping them tanks up and well I'll get brained for sure if I even spoke of adding more small tanks in here LOL. I sure could use them though to isolate mine. I'm happy you have an understanding spouse who's also supportive and a good photo taker!

You can pay for shipping, and by spreading the fry. That's all I want for my fish...is to be spread out. That's my goal of all my Victorians, to get them out into the world.

Works for me. I would feel happy to have your fry and grow them out to adults and spawn. I am growing more and more pleased keeping Victorians Barb. Thank you for the great shots and posts.

Babies are cool...I'm starting to get a little jaded with all the Rusty babies tho. There are just so many, and I have 3 females holding now. I'm flooding the San Antonio market with these, and I think I'm going to have to get rid of my breeding group, or at least not save any more fry for a while.
I've got 10 fry/holding tanks set up, and all of them are full! I can't believe that I am running low on tanks...I desperately need sponge filters!

Great pictures! They already look like their parents. lol Wish I could take some. Unfortunately, I have so much work with my fish lately that I have no choice but to cut down. Glad you have people to take them though! They're very cute!
