I finally finished an update to my Aquarium Cleaning article that I have been working on for a few weeks. I re-wrote some areas so as to explain my points better. But most importantly I expanded on my "Reasons" section as this is the objective part of the article that determines how and frequency which are more subjective. I also added to the methods section quite a bit with two others including "flow through" and "combination". I added more links to resources as well including more videos on another link. Most importantly I hope to have driven home the point that certain water parameters determine everything else, quoting from the article: "Summary of "Reasons for Water Changes;" My point is that a 25% water change every month may be all that is required by one aquarist but not adequate for another aquarist! Or one aquarist may do fine with the German or flow through method while another may fail and the use of products such as the Aquarium Cleaning Machine may be necessary for DOC control."Aquarium Cleaning; Reasons, Frequency, Methods, moreCarl

I thought I would add one more point, & that is many of the questions asked here and via email helped me know where to improve this article in particular. Some of Renee's recent questions also helped! Carl

Thanks Carl. I'll be sure to read when I have time. I like being your inspiration for you to write fish articles. XD
