Hi guys. I sent you a message on the company site the other day about my Vecton flashing again after changing the starter and bulb a couple months ago. Carl answered me and said maybe a short circuit or wires crossed. Well, I just took the cover off and I can't spot anything that doesn't look right. I was trying to send this message from my iPhone, so I could send some pictures, maybe someone could spot something, but when I am on my phone, the "add attachment" button is missing . I tried to send the message anyway, and when I hit create thread I just got an ''error'' message. I am so technology challenged. So now I am back on my laptop, but I don't know how to attach pics to my laptop. The static buzz I get when I plugged the UV back in and it was doing it's flash thing, does sound like a short circuit, but I don't know where it's coming from. -Nicole.

Did you get this taken care of? I would still work through AAP support.

These magnetic ballasts almost never fail. Likely it is the starter. It is noteworthy that starters are good for only so many starts, so make sure the UV is not trying to constantly re-start. A bad lamp can do this or poo connection to the lamp can do this too. Make sure to take the lamp out and test and then reinstal
