Hello everybody. Time came for me to buy a new filter. I'm considering 3 models from this website and need advice on which one to choose.
I have a 30 Gal planted tank, with 3 goldfish and some nerite snails. I have two filters in it. One (which I want to keep) is Marineland Penguin 200 with Filter max 3+2 combo pre-filter. Another one I'm going to replace. So I'm looking for a second filter for my tank.
I'm looking into: SunSun HBL-501 Power Filter AAP/API SuperClean Filter 20 AAP/Rena Smart Filter 20
Probably most important things for me is quietness (the tank is in my bedroom) and the ease of cleaning. Self priming feature won't hurt, since my Penguin filter doesn't have one. Especially valuable could be a comparison from those who used any two or all of them. I'm planning to get a Filter Max pre-filter to boost the effectiveness, but if you think that a more powerful model has to be chosen, I'm open to it as well. The price is not the main factor, I want to buy something that I would love using.
Would appreciate any opinion!

Hi Carl. I'm adding API Super Clean 30 to the cart, but once it is in the cart it says Rena Smart Filter. It must be a glitch. The price is right.

The Tidal is an excellent filter. I have one that sits with an AC 110. It moves a lot of water but has a tendency to GURGLE at times if you are using the skimmer function. Water level drops and waste against the skimmer intake seem to make mine sing.
Love it. I'm going to pick up another 110 soon. It's a breeze to clean.
