Hi guys. Been forever and a year since I have been on. Life just gets in the way sometimes I guess. Had a question about the Res-Q. I have new fish quarantining in my 10 gallon with Paragaurd. Can the Res-Q be used with the Paragaurd? Also one of the new Sterbai corys I just got developed a mild columnaris. I am treating him in a hospital tank with the Spectrogram. Can the Res-Q be used with that too?
Thanks, Nicole

Have another question. I received the larger bottle of Res-Q today and noticed a warning on the box that isn't on the smaller container to not use with invertebrates. Can I ask why that is? And does it include Nerites?

The reason is the quinine hydrochloride which is anti-parasitic. Reference: www.americanaquariumproducts.com/AquariumMedication2.html#quinineThis said, it is in very low quantities and meant to "stick" on fish, so in my experience, only with the most delicate of invertebrates should its use be avoided (this does not include snails) Carl

Hi Nicole!
Looks like Carl handled it.
Wanted to mention our new Facebook group Everything Aquatic.
You might check it out. Many from here and others are in the group and has become pretty popular.

Another question about the Res Q. When you are using it to treat a sick or injured fish, do you treat everyday like you would with Stressgaurd? Or just when you change the water or net them?
