Hello, Carl. Thank you so much for your articles on this sister website. I just joined this forum this evening because I found your article on Dropsy very helpful. I would like to offer one minor suggestion (and perhaps it is not important): the salt recommended for use in the bath for dropsy treatment should probably not be iodized, correct? Just noticed that it wasn't remarked upon in the article, and thought it might be useful to point out, maybe?

Just noticed that it wasn't remarked upon in the article, and thought it might be useful to point out, maybe? Thanks for noting this and I am happy to read that the articles are helpful. I do link to an article that addresses this (which is not critical), but maybe I will take a second look and make the link more prominent. www.aquarium-pond-answers.com/2008/03/salt-in-freshwater-aquariums.htmlThis "Aquarium Answers" article even points out that salt used in a bath can be helpful: www.aquarium-pond-answers.com/2009/07/fish-baths.htmlCarl
