OK so I knew that you could build a plywood aquarium, but I didn't know how. I stumbled across this series of videos and got sucked in. Then my husband noticed what I was watching and he got sucked in. My husband watched most of them with me, then he turns to me and says, "I could totally build that, but where would we fit it?" I had to laugh because I know it's true, he can build just about anything.

This is how we built ALL 110 aquariums at the Bahooka Restaurant I maintained! www.americanaquariumproducts.com/AquariumBio.html#aquariumI do mildly disagree with him as to his silicone comment. I worked under Prestige aquariums in the late 70s as an apprentice builder and was shown how not all 100% silicones were the same, as too quick of drying time will not make as durable an aquarium long term (& common hardware store brands are NOT made with this in mind). This is the one issue I have noted with Joey's videos, such as his video about aquarium heater modules, and that is he has little practical experience and has not allowed himself any mentoring and it sometimes comes out in his otherwise excellent videos Further Reading: www.aquarium-pond-answers.com/2007/03/aquarium-silicone.htmlCarl

He still uses this tank I believe... just not in the gallery. Very neat.
