Hello everyone! I found my way here after spending the past few weeks reading all of the articles on AAP. I really appreciate all of the in-depth information, as well as the wealth of knowledge on this forum. This is actually the first forum I've ever joined (I usually just lurk). I joined this forum because this is one of the very few I've seen that has a great community and there isn't a flame war going on in every other post. I also feel that the information in this forum is very informative and helpful.
I am currently restarting my 29 gallon tank. It was a low light non-co2 community tank, but I'm working on moving towards the injected co2 route. I currently have my fish and plants in separate 10 gallon holding tanks in the meantime as I prepare the main tank again.
I've spent at least 30+ hours the past week reading through all the articles by Carl trying to educate myself about all the aspects of fish keeping. I would still consider myself a beginner even after having my tank established for the last 4 or so years. I do still think there is a lot to learn and I have many questions that I'm hoping this great community can help me with in the future!
I look forward to being a part of this forum and want to thank AAP and everyone else on this forum for providing such a great place for discussion and information!

Woop!
Welcome! Been fish keeping for 7 years (6 years professionally) and I still learn daily.
I hope the forum helps take your skills to the next level.

Thanks for your thoughts, especially as to the Flame wars, as we try hard to be very tolerant and not eject people, but at the same time we do strive for a friendly "learning" discussion Carl
