Hi, I'm CPT, and I've been an addict for a little under a year. Someone on another forum suggested this place (I guess I bugged him asking too many questions).
I currently have a male and female JD, raphael cat, black racer and mystery snail, in a 55. oh, and a small blue gill I'm hoping to be a target fish.

 Welcome! Sounds like a nice set-up. How'd did you get into fish keeping? You're welcome to start a tank thread and show off your tanks and fish friends. People like thought type of threads. Good to know this forum is making a name for it self  |

I had JDs as a kid, but due to my lack of knowledge they ended up dying about a year later (changed water maybe twice, in a 20g). I told myself I would get more when I got older, and it just happened to recently.
I do 20-ish% weekly changes and have heavy filtration (sunsun 704B and Penguin 150B). The male is about 6 and female 4.
He said this forum is actually into helping people and not trying to shill stuff on people like other sites do.

I would be the one that begged him to join, since he has some fish issues that spot out of my realm with JDs, so I figured Carl and others here could be more timely with accurate answers.
