Just received my first TMC GroBeam 600 yesterday. Initial thoughts: Solid, extremely well built. There isn't a cheap part on it. Very bright, I could tape it to the front of my car and be fine on the road. I plan on adding 2 more to my 65 gallon. I wrote this for anyone who had been on the fence about purchasing one. You won't regret it. If anyone wants pics or video about the light beyond what Carl and Devon have already posted let me know and I'll do what I can. Mike

Thanks for sharing this! I really do feel these are the best of the best, and their warranty also speaks to this. But boy, sales of the AquaRay is about 1/4 what these were a few years back, in part due to an over crowded market for high end lighting, in part because of a flood of cheap LEDs that certainly do the trick, but still do not last, and sadly because some groups such as Reef Central, Nano Reefs, PNWMAP, and Planted Tanks Facebook have dishonestly bashed these lights and even me and Devon. Really the only negative at all is the PSU, but this is because ALL LED manufacturers. including AquaRay, outsource for this part. Even then TMC is the only one with a two year warranty here, as others are one year or less. Source: www.americanaquariumproducts.com/LEDLights.htmlCarl

Lighting has gone way of fan groups or "pimping". I remember seeing this over filters back in the 80's when I was on dial up BBS's. Eheim users were the most obnoxious.
I'm not worried about power supplies. Kessil has issues with theirs as well. Mine burnt out after one month. They replaced it immediately and I have no doubt TMC is the same. These things happen and manufacturer support is what makes it or breaks it.
The build quality is super amazing. It just feels solid and looks every bit it. I have it laying on the glass top right now as I have not decided how I want to mount it...

You have to use something like photobucket (where ever you can host the picture) and paste the URL of the picture in the picture feature of the Reply.
Or just attach them, if they're small enough.
