Mr Stromeyer,
Why on earth would anyone want to cause you trouble?
I agree with everything you ever say. What is wrong with people?
Sorry to hear about your $ issue. Let me do my best to help and go shopping right now at American Aquarium. Got to stock up on wonder shells and im looking for a big filter.

Mr Stromeyer, Why on earth would anyone want to cause you trouble? I agree with everything you ever say. What is wrong with people? Sorry to hear about your $ issue. Let me do my best to help and go shopping right now at American Aquarium. Got to stock up on wonder shells and im looking for a big filter. Thank you! I do not even ask they others always agree with everything in my articles, just that they use more objective logical criticisms instead of the personal and "Ad hominem" attacks. Rarely does a day goes by when I do not find a track back in my Stat software to groups like Reef Central giving me no credibility other than owning an aquarium store for a long time which in fact is not even true since most of my career has been in aquarium maintenance, design, research and similar. Some persons & groups have been even more personal and vulgar in their attacks. Interestingly persons such as Tom Barr who also sales based on his experience get a pass by these same persons/groups (I am BTW not knocking Tom Barr's knowledge and experience either, yet he is one who has joined in on some of these attacks too). this has led me to writing editorials into some of my articles to address these people/groups such as my UV Sterilization article (near the beginning): www.americanaquariumproducts.com/AquariumUVSterilization.htmlOr writing entire blog posts just to defend myself. Example: cstrohmeyer.wordpress.com/2015/01/12/reef-central-review-the-mr-burns-of-aquarium-forums/BTW, the last quarter of 2015 was even worse with my "wages" coming to $1.10 per hour Thanks again for your support Carl

The Internet gives people a sense of buffered anonymity that makes them think they can behave in an uncivilized manner and get away with it.
It's unfortunate.

I entirely disagree that Walmart will continue to stock puffers if they are rescued. I bought every single puffer that came to every Walmart within a 100 mile radius for 4 months and they QUIT SELLING THEM. The number 1 challenge I face is NOT dealing with Walmart, it's dealing with APATHY. I have recruited only a handful of volunteer Puffer Guardsmen to notify Managers. If only people would give Walmart a chance, they will find, as i did, real human beings who are interested in knowing this is happening. I CHALLENGE YOU. MR STROMEYER and MR DEVON and the rest of you mugs! Copy, and serve this document to Walmart managers. send me the name of the Manager and store address. I'll take it from there. This little blue haired old lady will Puffer Corps Press Release show you what it takes to move a mountain. I think it will depend upon each store manager. In some instances purchasing from a some entity may only further encourage such behavior. Think about buying up all the heroin from a local heroin dealer, likely this will only encourage him/her. On the other hand, with a good Walmart manager, as you noted this truly sent a good message. Unfortunately my experience of late in dealing with the miss-information I have fought against, it is an increasingly uphill battle when morals are considered. This is also why I will certainly continue to spread the word about puffers via this forum, social media, and my industry connections, however I have too many irons in the fire in my own battles dealing with often very personal attacks upon myself, all the while more and more persons utilize my free information to purchase elsewhere, resulting in last year my personal earnings were $8 per hour when my time was factored into the terrible net income I made. So adding battles with local Walmart managers is something I simply do not have the time or even the health for at this time (also our local Walmart does not even sell fish). Carl Carl Have you ever thought about putting all of your information in a Ebook for purchase. I would be the first in line to buy it. Richard

Our Walmart's stopped selling fish in this area because they couldn't compete with our LFS. Petsmart is the main pet store in this area. I live in what is considered the Far West Side of Indianapolis. I will keep and eye out at the Petsmart stores for puffers.

]Carl Have you ever thought about putting all of your information in a Ebook for purchase. I would be the first in line to buy it. Richard Yes, while we still sell pdf downloads, which are a too much work to keep up with conversion from my constant updates, we did have a person who specialized in this look into doing this for us, but it never really took off and it too took a lot of time transferring information from our web site HTML which is easy to make updates to these formats that are not easily updated, even with software we purchased from adobe Thanks for the suggestion!
